Earlier we posted a post demonstrating how some students were creating their own surveys. Many of the students were focusing on "What is your favourite colour". They put various colours on their page and went around the class surveying their classmates. We were excited that some students did this on their own without us teaching them anything about surveys. Today we extended their learning by modeling other types of ways they could do surveys. If you are interested (or have time) discuss with your child other ways they can do surveys and how adults use surveys in the real world.
