Today when the students entered they discovered a new provocation at the writing centre.

In Kindergarten, the centres are often set up with intentionally placed materials that are open-ended. This allows students to be creative and also allows the teacher to "see" the each student's thinking.

 One student made her name with the wooden material, while another student made a very creative design.
