This morning during centres, some of the children made some structures in the block centre:
While some of the other children decided to make holiday cards for their reading buddies:
They got to deliver them when some reading buddies came to visit during morning recess.
In music, Mrs. Donovan taught us some new songs and everybody got to dance:
In math, we began talking about length. The class was given a challenge: In pairs, they had to go around the classroom and find things that were the same length as 10 cubes.
Here are some of the things they found:
A.K found that the bottom of the table leg was 10 cubes
J.M found that the hand sanitizer was 10 cubes
Q.G and A.H found a book that was 10 cubes wide
G.F found a number sign that was 10 cubes wide
Look at all the different things this group found!
